Pros

MarketCounsel can provide you with connections to help you grow in your career. It is also a place that requires to work hard and past the 9-5 workday which can get tiresome but very rewarding for your personal development after you leave the company (you are a special person if you are there for more than a year).

Cons

MarketCounsel is a toxic workplace environment. It starts from the top down from berating employees constantly to making them feel uncomfortable in the workplace with fear tactics and broken promises. All events were after hours and most were forced since the majority of company didn’t want to be there past since their workday was miserable anyways. The company turnover is very high as people resign every two weeks or so because they can only take so much of this company’s mistreatment. I would not recommend working here unless you desperately need a job or have a personal connection with the CEO.
