One C-Level Exec of the company was wonderful and the other teams was great to work with. The main C-Level Exec and another C-Level Exec were a nightmare. Lots of yelling and verbal abuse. There was a call everyday at 4:30 for the main C-Level Exec to micromanage every task on everyones list all at the same time and on the same call. Could have easily been a separate call with everyone that didn't have to be at 4:30pm. It was a waste of everyone's time and didn't contribute to autonomy whatsoever. This disabled one's ability to use their own critical thinking to solve problems. The management who'd been there a long time were great but had developed similar management styles to that of the owner and that was really sad - as these conditions are not normal in the workplace and shouldn't be seen as such. There was a $250 Christmas bonus to a party that everyone was flown out to NJ to attend. The party was really nice but the bonus was not enough. It was also an Amazon gift card and not cash. Also, the workday in office was really strange. You could hear the main C-Level Exec in his office yelling and complaining about everything the entire day. The main C-Level Exec would verbally assault the employees everyday and nitpick every word or action they do throughout the entire day. One could easily assume that it was only them being attacked but it was happening to everyone all day every day.
