Not that I expected this job to be glamorous or anything but dang...Don't understand how anyone would actually want to do this kind of mind-numbing, intellectually-regressive work.

Great Company, Ridiculous Amount of Work

Pros

MRG's company culture is great. It feels like family and the benefits are good. It's a fun company to work for.

Cons

If you work in media, you will mostly be miserable and underpaid. Since acquiring the new GM client, there's no work life balance and the pay doesn't match the amount of work. Media department processes and procedures are tedious and the workload is humanly impossible and never ending.

The day to day people are nice, the parent companies and upper management are disorganized, slow to evolve , and have impeded company growth and more importantly retention.

Cons

80% turnover since 4Q 2021, company has exhausted local talent. Potential new hires should consider other agencies hiring remotely. Was micromanaged and asked about my status on teams the second it turned yellow. Promotions only given when someone leaves. This is not a company you want to work at.

We DO have annual reviews at MRG, along with a very fair, formal, and detailed method for compensation and promotions decisions.
