Pros

Good pay, ok benefits, profit sharing The pay is above average Decent benefits Very few places offer a profit share such as this place which is a nice change

Cons

Management, hrs, training, favoritism, meetings, smell, boring, backstabbing, The management is horrible!! From the plant Manger down to the supervisors, all the management really seems to lack experience. And from the way it operates it really shows. Most of management seems to either be scared of the plant manager or are in the positions because they act like a teachers pet. The production manager dosent even know how to setup a line or start a line. In the morning meetings she is completely clueless we all have a laugh at her. The maintenance supervisor has never been in maintenance till he worked there, and is sloppy at his job and grossly under qualified. Hr does whatever plant manager wants, supervisors hate and make fun of the production manager. Mangement is horrible its like a sideshow. And the lady in charge of ehs must be a relative of plant manager she has no degrees or even common sense its pathetic when she trys to make suggestions or implement things. The hrs are long 12hr shift 2,2,3 schedule. And lots of mandatory ot If your an inspector be ready to stand in one position for hrs at a time and bare the brunt of returns. No one owns up to the problems it's all about finger pointing Training is horrific.the youngest employees to the company seem to be the ones who train, the bad part is half the time they tell you they don't know. So.etimes we start a line up and the trainer needs to be trained to start the line, its absolutely hilarious when my trainer is telling me she never ran this profile before and dosent know how to start line or check parts lol. A lot of cliques here so if your in your in if not you'll be gone in less than year. I've never worked in a place that has so many people that go out of their way to talk about you or others behind your back. Orange night supervisor was constantly telling me about employees and their issues and what the company is planning on doing for discipline or actions, she would tell me all, im like Debbie I shouldn't be hearing this its confidential but she would always tell me anyways. This company I made the most of in pay but the drama and leadership at the tecton salem plant is the worst I've ever seen.

Pros

They offer flexibility and benefits

Cons

Managers and management take the biggest portion of pay raises. Lots of promises but nothing ever happens.

Pros

- Stable employment - Checks never bounced - Decent benefits, but nothing to write home about

Cons

- Very top down management setup; culture is stuck in a 90s work environment where managers have the say in how things are done, but this is masked by making people think their opinions are considered. - Job is predictable and boring, no real growth opportunities - Lot of focus goes to fluff work instead of the more pressing issues
