      Pros

      They are a really great employer to those that fit their mold but exclude anyone who is outspoken or different. Most employees are kind and it does feel like a family.

      Cons

      They do a lot of dirty firing with employees who have been loyal to them for many years. They play exactly by "union rules" and do a disciplinary every 2 weeks for 3 write ups with no just cause or substantiation. Very clique oriented and so much favoritism by leadership. Success and promotions are not based on job performance but only by personal relationships. Once they decide they want to get rid of you, they are cut throat with total lack of compassion. They absolutely do not value their employees.

      Fast pace work. Very busy place

      Cons

      A large percentage of employees there are anti-vaxers and right wingers who feel compelled to tell you about it constantly. Even when told to keep political opinions out of the workplace

      Unrealistic expectations. Hell on earth if tangle w/VP of HR

      Pros

      Some really dedicated and nice employee's. Good pay for a small town. Really great place to work if brown nosing is your thing.

      Cons

      They expect full time results on a part time basis. Preach positive workforce environment, but don't walk there talk. Small town thinking that will find a way to undermine you if you are a strong leader or you make a volunteer upset. You are beholden to the commissioner's. They also try to change the terms of employment that they agree to in your interview.
