Pros

Fantastic people around you. Very smart yet humble, exceedingly accomplished-but that might change if MGB does not work on retention. Still living in past glory but glory is fading with rebranding!

Cons

Tone Deaf over paid C Suite that is answerable to neither shareholders (because it's a Non Profit) nor employees, nor patients. The C SUITE Enjoys the benefits of being a "Corporate" but behaves like a Plantation owner in the Antebellum South. Run by an even more clueless Board. Lots of fancy business and compassion speak in emails to employees and public. But pay themselves excessively and act with a sense of entitlement like the Robber Barons of the early 19th century. Need a huge attitudinal change if the place is going to thrive otherwise decay will set in.

Pros

- Those who aren't in leadership positions in the department are usually kind and helpful. - benefits are great.

Cons

- Extremely high turnover in the PS&C department due to mismanagement and unsustainable work loads. - People are afraid to ask questions because of the management treating those that do as unintelligent and "aloof" to what's going on. - Micromanaging is a major issue. - Promotions are extremely rare. - Work culture is poor, below average at best. - At Day 1 new employees are treated as if the leadership expects them to fail. Constantly feels like you're fighting for your job throughout your first 90 days: you're expected to present a 90 day presentation to the VP and two directors who then meet after you've left the room to discuss your future in the department. - All of these cons were raised during an Employee Engagement Survey that was performed in July 2018, but nothing was done to address these issues except to allow two work from home days a week instead of one (everyone is too scared to take both of these days due to negative feedback from their bosses) - there is zero consideration for work/life balance.
