Pros

Some Very bright people work there with a collective entrepreneurial spirit. Many on the team are solid and are happy about working as a team, but there is an 800 pound gorilla in the room...

Cons

To put it kindly, the CEO is certifiably insane. She has only Massive Bio in her life, and makes unrealistic demands on the rest of the staff that may actually have a life outside work. She is no doubt bright, but has the maturity, logic and reason of a 12 year old child.

Pros

The actual team is really great and super supportive! They take care of each other.

Cons

You will easily be working 14 hour days and get yelled at for not working enough. The CEO is abusive and degrading constantly. She is unhinged and acts like a child having a tantrum.

The Company agrees that Massive Bio’s team is really great, super supportive, and take care of each other. This is largely because of our strong company culture and mission, which we believe gives our employees a strong sense of purpose in their work: connecting cancer patients with clinical trials using cutting-edge technology. The leadership team at Massive Bio works tirelessly to develop and expand the Company’s global footprint. The reviews contained in the post are not reflective of the experience of our qualified, dedicated team members of the Company. Massive Bio welcomes qualified applicants to speak directly with the CEO about opportunities available at Massive Bio to potentially make a positive difference in the lives of the oncology patient population it serves.

We're glad to hear that you found the work to be manageable and appreciated the work/life balance. Our top priorities are ensuring that our team members have a balanced professional life. Operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment, our growth journey from startup stage necessitates that our co-founders and CEO remain closely aligned with all ongoing activities. This ensures that as we disrupt and innovate within our domain, we maintain cohesion and purpose. It's essential to recognize that such environments may contrast with more traditional or laid-back corporate settings. These settings are dynamic, demanding, and require a resilient mindset. We understand that this might not align with everyone's expectations or career experiences. It's unfortunate that you felt the pace and intensity were synonymous with micromanagement or challenging leadership. We believe in fostering an environment that challenges individuals, pushing them out of their comfort zones to aid in their learning and career growth aspirations. We're genuinely sorry if this did not align with your experience or expectations.
