Pros

Easy to get a job

Cons

Once they get you into the door, supervisors turn on you. They don’t train the new hires accurately and long enough.

Sinking ship

Pros

Some of the people are as good as gold. EMPHASIS on SOME.

Cons

Do not care about their employees. There have been annual layoffs for as long as I can remember and they work on a "good ole boy" system, hiring their buddies and relatives. Since purchased by the latest owner, it is a sinking ship running a skeleton crew.

Pros

It is a job and a paycheck.

Cons

It is all about who you are at Master-Bilt and not about the work you do or don't do. After Master-Bilt was sold to Ten Oaks, they took the work of one man and destroyed Master-Blt. They decided to close it but later found out that one man lied. Now Master-Bilt is open on a much smaller scale because the WI plant cannot make certain cabinets. It will never be what it used to be.
