Fake reviews posted by managment team

Pros

There are a couple of honest reviews on here, make sure to dig them out, they are the ones that don't start with over-the-top titles like "Land of opportunity", obviously all the overly self promoting ones are from the management team that don't want you to see the real ones.

Cons

It is so pathetic that the management team feels the need to try and bury honest reviews from real employees and former employees. After I posted a positive one they called me up and asked me to remove it, then they threatened. It says a lot about a company when they are afraid of the truth getting out from their enormous list of unhappy past employees with their daily turnover rate worse than a fast food restaurant.

Pros

- Nice office building - Free lunch most Fridays - Free parking across street

Cons

- Minimal vacation time - No working remotely - Very hostile work environment - If you have any disability you will be severely discriminated - Very intolerant of any personal beliefs - Vulgar language and conversations are a constant norm by managment, coworkers, men/women - Extremely unprofessional - Business development team trained to sell like sleazy used car salesmen - Bait and switch sales techniques to clients, be ready to hurt your reputation and have lots of companies get mad at you - High turnover rate, they have a very difficult time maintaining good people - You will never get your full commissions promised, a lot of bait and switch on employees as well - Expected to work in a vacuum, never given tools to sell with, and if you find any resources they are taken from you.

Pros

The company cruise for the holiday party is a nice perk and unlimited vacation is nice as well. At this point - I'm not sure if I have any other positive things to say.

Cons

What once might have been a fun place to work has since turned into a battleground, complete with almost weekly casualties. After a corporate restructuring earlier this summer, it seems that no one in management has any idea of reality and everyone seems confused about the direction ... (and future) of this company. They've also changed our comp plan and since the restructuring - my monthly pay has gone down. I just hope that the end of year "bonus" helps make up for it. In the past 7 months, just a guess that 30 or 40 people have either quit or gotten let go including an offering by the company for a corporate buyout in return for 3 weeks pay / year. We had opened an office in NYC in January and not even 9 months later - are closing that office and staff here in Miami are being forced to share office space so the company can save face and rent out half of these offices for income. We've recently lost some big accounts for the agency and key staff members in the Business Development team, and the future just does not look bright the way things are shaping up as our new biz pipeline has been seriously reduced from it was even 7 or 8 months ago. Additionally, as a new hire, if you have experience in PR specifically focused around tech with an understanding of products and established relationships, you should be fine - but if not -- there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of help from management with a training program, so be prepared to be put on an island and expected to build a boat with little or no instructions.
