Pros
Technology is good but outdated. Engineers are of high quality. Engineers generally have a positive attitude and band together when under pressure/deadlines.
Cons
The Maxeler London office suffers from toxic management culture. Upper management can be divided in to two camps - The "I know everything camp and you shall do as I say" and the "We're all a team so let's get on and do it camp'. Unfortunately the first camp is far more vocal and overrides the second. The C.E.O has even stated that Maxeler will not hire first rate employees as they won't do as commanded, so we'll aim for second or third rate employees. Due to this the work environment is rather poor and moral is low. These attitudes have not always been in place but have arisen as a consequence of >66% of upper management resigning in the last 24 months.
