Pros
Getting to learn a lot about general aviation and about private jets and part 135/91 operations. The pilots are very knowledgeable and help in any way they can. Making contacts outside of the company.
Cons
Letting someone be a supervisor who is unqualified just because they have been there the longest makes for a very uncomfortable work environment. When there is an issue and employees try to talk to upper management, the problems don't seem to be resolved. Upper management and the new supervisor text back and forth about current employees. They would rather hire young, inexperienced, non-licensed employees just so they do not have to pay more money. Dealing with part of the sales department. There are some people who are unable to handle someone telling them no and there are some people who expect another department to do their job that they are getting a rather large commission for. Since it's a small company, disrespect between people is an ongoing thing.
