An absolute horrible & toxic place to work!
Pros
There are absolutely no pros to working for Mazzella, also known as Mazzella Companies, ESPECIALLY in the rigging department. The managers come on this site and claim it’s a “family” company; but that’s only because they want to protect shiny Corvettes and big houses. Just remember money can’t buy God off.
Cons
They protect themselves by lying. For example, they said they wouldn’t hire female rigging inspectors because it’s a “man’s job,” then later denied ever saying it. What they don’t realize is that their TEAMS calls were ALWAYS recorded by their own system. Hard to talk your way out of that one! When confronted with the recording, they tried to blame the rigging supervisor; but they couldn’t speak to defend themselves. It’s shameful how their own managers throw their own “family” under the bus. But go ahead and buy your shiny new cars, and your big house, and enjoy lunches every day on the company dime. Mazzella’s rigging Management is absolutely pathetic, and I’m hopeful karma finds its way back to its rightful owner.
