Pros
they bought a nice version of Salesforce.
Cons
Company is dying quickly. They are trying to slice their way to profitability, getting rid of some truly GREAT people. Have you ever heard of a company laying off salespeople and leaders who are exceeding goals? Well, you have now. If somebody good is miraculously hired here, despite the terrible wages, no career advancement opportunities, dilapidated facilities, ancient technology, and downright evil execs, they won’t stay long. Leadership, right up to the top of the organization, squashes good ideas and is terrified to take risks. Not a single competitive digital advantage. Not one. There are wonderful people in the media planning and research teams, but they are forced to create plans with ridiculously high profit margins, which makes any media plan uncompetitive. Any customer worth his or her salt will ask your rates for SEM a management—when you have to say “30 percent,” you’ll be lucky not to be laughed out of the building.
