Pros

The co-workers are the ONLY pro at this firm. Unfortunately, just as you get to know and like them, they leave either by their own accord or by firing by the worst HR person ever!!!!

Cons

EVERYTHING. As my February post stated, stay far far away if you value simple human decency. I am not sure how or why my post has been removed as it most definitely should not have been. It was a very honest review based upon my experience and my sincere desire to forewarn anyone considering a position within this firm. The biggest CON of this firm are the two managing partners and the HR person. They are a team of 3 who at best do not value ANY employee. If you are an "Admin" with this Firm, I guarantee that not only will you NEVER be appreciated for any of your hard work and dedication, you will be treated with zero respect and in fact will be bullied. While one partner is a bit worse than the other, please know they are hostile, condescending, and intimidating. I have many many years of legal experience and have never in my life been treated so horribly. Please know I am in no way a "disgruntled employee" nor am I a "bad apple who didn't fit in" as one reviewer suggested. If that was in fact the case, how does the firm explain the mass departure of over 16 people within one month's time, many without even having new jobs, as did I, out of sheer desperation and self preservation. And this firm's revolving doors has no end in sight, with the exception of a select few, everyone leaves as quickly as feasibly possible. I have chalked this up to a learning experience. A horrible one, but an experience nonetheless and have found myself within an amazing firm. If I am able to prevent even ONE person from subjecting themselves to such abusive treatment and going through what I went through, then this review has done what the intended purpose of reviews even is. Yes, there have been a couple admins that have lasted with the firm 10+ years. Perhaps it takes that long to be treated decently?

WASTE OF A YEAR

Pros

The only pro during my time here was the flexible schedule my position in specific offered.

Cons

This company does not care about their employees. The overwhelming amount of people who left this place in the year and a half I worked for them was astounding. Don't expect to make any money in this company unless you're an attorney or can wait 20 years. They do not give raises based on performance but rather on time with the company. I got an internship after working here that paid $5 more than what I made there after a year and a half. AN INTERNSHIP. And when I quit this job after not receiving the raise I asked for, not only did their HR tell me I was making a mistake and taking steps backwards in my professional career, they hired TWO people to cover the job I was doing. So rather than paying me an extra few dollars an hour (a livable wage) they would rather pay two wages. There was no sense of community at this job and I think in the entire time I worked there, I only got to know maybe 3 people? Look for a job where you are treated as an asset vs replaceable. The jobs are out there, trust me.

Thank you for your input and glad to learn you have found a satisfying position. We did experience turnover in 2019 which is attributed to the fact that we are growing rapidly; change can be unsettling to some employees. We are adding more employees to our workforce to meet client work demands; we generally hire staff without much work experience, and provide them with the opportunity to gain professional experience and new skills. We include in our job postings the starting wage and conduct performance reviews based on merit. We also review wages twice a year . In regard to the comments about a sense of community: our firm makes extra efforts in team building by organizing firm events during the work week (happy hours, pot lunches, games, and lunch and learns); volunteer events, individual team gatherings to build rapport with new employees; and summer, Halloween, and holiday events for employees and their families. We are always looking for new experiences to bring all employees together.

Pros

Team leaders are great to work with and train you well

Cons

Pay is extremely low for the work product produced and if you land on the trademark side, good luck. Attorney is brilliant but one of the nastiest people I’ve ever met. Incredibly hard to work with as nothing is good enough and you’re made to look and feel like you have no business working in the law industry.

Thank you for engaging with us on Glassdoor. Newly hired employees start at a training wage and are then compensated when skills are learned and developed.
