Pros

It's a job till I find something better. Way better.

Cons

This place is trying to make me work 6 days a week on the worst shift, with little to no oversight. I honestly don't feel safe with no leadership to help train. It's a sink or Swim mentality. No Foreman on shift and is run strictly by senior people grabbing the easiest jobs to do first. I don't get to see my kids or family much and I get put down for refusing to work weekends, like my life doesn't matter. I'm tired of the arguments between union people and what they deem fair. The only way to move up here is to suck off a boss or something. I honestly hate coming into work anymore.

Pros

Operators are great to work with in Livonia and Cleveland facility helpful. Cleveland facility is run much different. When prospectively looking for a position at McGean, it's important to discern between these two facility.

Cons

Management at this location needs training. Safety is not designed through engineering but defaults to PPE as the first line of defense for many tasks due to old facility and lack of money being put back into the facility. Overall culture at the facility is poor due to management.
