Pros

It was fun working as a warehouse packer with this company. The supervisors are nice and warm, allowing you to take breaks if you feel tired.

Cons

Very physical job, a lot of moving of heavy boxes and products. Need to stay alert as orders are always different, need to make sure that orders are packed correctly

Pros

Joining Mdm Ling Bakery as a Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist offers an great starting point for anyone keen to build a solid foundation in digital marketing. This role immerses you in hands-on learning, supported by adequate supervision to guide your creative and strategic development. The company's friendly and collaborative environment is also good for professionals who thrive in open and communicative settings. As a young and vibrant company, the bosses are definitely eager to experiment with innovative content, backed by a budget that encourages creative freedom. Additionally, the team's openness to feedback ensures that new ideas are always welcome, making it an ideal workplace for those looking to influence and grow with a forward-thinking brand. Bonus: Paus are great & I get to eat them for breakfast 😋

Cons

The company can sometimes be rather last-minute, particularly in terms of logistics, which may impact the creative planning process for shoots and campaign rollouts. Additionally, with a small team structure, career progression paths within the digital marketing role can be unclear, which might require you to source out external learning opportunities (E.g. Attending workshops to hone your skills instead). Although interns occasionally assist with content production, you will often find yourself working independently, which demands a high level of self-motivation and organisational skills, especially since you will be responsible for managing all 3 brands. The workload does intensify during peak/festive periods, but this is balanced by more relaxed off-peak periods, providing a manageable rhythm once you are accustomed to the workflow.
