Pros

They have more motor coach work than any other motor coach company in central florida.

Cons

The pay is so extremely low it's unbelievable. Much of their work is contracted from Disney and Disney encourages their guests NOT to tip their motor coach drivers which is not the industry standard and Mears "built-in" gratuities and commissions are so low that they don't come close to paying what these motor coach drivers should be making annually as compared to the rest of the industry.

Pros

NONE - NONE - NONE- NONE - NONE

Cons

employees are not treated fairly - they are not given any consideration.- they are treated as dispensable commodities - not human beings. A "normal" work week is at least 50 hours. No overtime pay. Frequently forced to work mandatory six day weeks.

Pros

The other employees become your family. Everybody in the HR building is great. (Questions are always addressed there.) It's very hard to say many positive things about this division of the company.

Cons

Low pay. Horrible schedule (they do it to torture you). You'll be required to work so late on your Friday that it runs into your saturday. Your Sunday you'll be scheduled early early morning. Sometimes 130am. If you say anything you'll be considered as complaining. Not all equipment is up to date and some buses are just disgusting. You are told your gratuity from charters is %10, but it's actually lower and on a lot of charters you get no gratuity at all. Just a $8.75/hr job to drive around a huge bus with people who act like they were raised in a jungle.
