Pros

Remote Flexible schedule Works with employees schedule

Cons

The hourly wage is low. You have to put up with difficult phone calls. People will call cursing, yelling, tell you that your "taking away father's from their children", all for a wage you couldn't afford rent on. It always baffling when you work for a company in health care and then they don't pay for your health care in its entirety. This is why the company has a high turn over rate for customer services reps. They also seem to think you can train people to be empathic. This just isn't the case. Either a person cares about other humans or they don't. No amount of training will create compassionate people. Overall it's an OK company to work for. If this job was in person and had a strict schedule, (like most other jobs) they would never hold on anyone longer than 2 weeks. The only thing this job has going for it is that you stay in your pajamas.

Pros

Working from home is great, right? We don't have to deal with traffic, dress codes, or etc . We just have to listen to our lovely CEO bragging about her exotic vacations every week. She's so generous to share her experiences with us, while we barely make enough to pay the bills. How lucky are we to have such a caring boss?

Cons

I had the misfortune of working at Medwatch LLC, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst professional experiences of my life. I feel compelled to share my brutally honest review to spare others from the torment I endured during my time there. Promotion Practices: Medwatch LLC's promotion practices are nothing short of abysmal. It became painfully clear that favoritism ruled the day. It didn't matter how proficient you were in your role; if you weren't in the inner circle of favorites, promotion was nothing more than a pipe dream. This blatant unfairness left a sour taste in my mouth. Constantly Changing Procedures: The company had a frustrating habit of constantly altering procedures, leaving employees bewildered. To make matters worse, the training provided was inadequate, and if you failed to grasp these ever-changing protocols immediately, you were subjected to threats of disciplinary actions. This kind of working environment is incredibly demoralizing and stressful. Unhelpful and Rude Supervisors: The supervisors at Medwatch LLC were not just unhelpful; they were downright rude. Their lack of support only added to the toxic atmosphere within the company. To add insult to injury, Medwatch LLC tolerated abusive language from providers, making employees feel powerless and disrespected. Inadequate Pay: The pay at Medwatch LLC is far from a livable wage. It's disheartening to put in hard work day in and day out and struggle to make ends meet. In today's world, where financial stability is crucial, this kind of compensation is simply unacceptable. Lack of Proper Training: If you're considering a position here, be prepared for inadequate training and the constant threat of disciplinary action for minor mistakes. Management's inability to provide clear and correct instruction exacerbates the issue. Unwarranted Additional Responsibilities: Employees are often voluntold to take on added responsibilities without any additional compensation. This practice is exploitative and unfair, making it clear that the company's priorities lie in squeezing every ounce of labor from their staff. Pressure for Positive Reviews: It's no secret that Medwatch LLC pressures its employees to leave positive reviews. These reviews do not accurately reflect the working conditions but are rather a facade to attract potential new hires. This kind of manipulation is unethical. Disciplinary Double Standards: A disturbing double standard exists at Medwatch LLC. Supervisors and managers can show up late or miss work with impunity, while regular employees are subject to write-ups and verbal reprimands, even for minor infractions like being a minute late. This blatant hypocrisy is infuriating. Age Discrimination: There's also a pervasive issue of age discrimination at the company. Promotions appear to be reserved for younger employees, leaving hardworking, experienced individuals feeling undervalued and overlooked. In conclusion, I strongly advise against working at Medwatch LLC. The company's unfair promotion practices, ever-changing procedures without proper training, disrespectful supervisors, meager pay, and numerous other issues make it a toxic and stressful place to work. My experience at Medwatch LLC was nothing short of a nightmare, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same fate.
