Thank you for your feedback. While our learning curve is steep, our aim is for entry-level employees to ramp up quickly by completing a comprehensive training program prior to working directly on accounts. This helps ensure that our clients are consistently supported by folks with a high level of expertise. We do acknowledge that mentorship from senior level staff might not be available on a daily basis and encourage employees to work closely alongside our account management team for support. Employees can also take advantage of intranet resources, which include our best practices, processes, and expectations for every level of employment at Media Cause - all of which are shared with new hires on their first day at Media Cause. Diversity is a priority. Our director-level staff is 60% female, and some employees were born outside of the US. Furthermore, the launch of our Fellowship Program reinforces our commitment to building a diverse team. We also acknowledge that Media Cause is not the ideal environment for everyone to thrive. During the first three months of employment, all new hires (from entry-level staff to senior management) are specifically given less work as they acclimate to the pace of creating impact at Media Cause. For some folks, our fast-paced environment is the perfect fit. For others, it is not.

Cons

-Great for self-starters who thrive on challenge: this isn't the kind of place where your supervisor is going to tell you exactly what to do and how to do it. Great if you like being self-directed. May not be the best fit if you prefer getting detailed instructions and "being managed". -High expectations and sometimes demanding: We all care a lot about the final product and want to give clients a positive experience. Sometimes that means putting in extra hours to see things through. The emphasis is not on how many hours you work but on doing the work. May not be the best fit for someone who wants to "clock in and clock out" or is looking for a job that never deviates from the 9-5.

Pros

- Senior management listens, values, and implements employee feedback. - Company culture is a huge priority when it comes to hiring and working at Media Cause. There's no tolerance for gossip and such. - Supportive work environment, only friendly competition here. - All employees work a maximum # of accounts & billable hours, which reduces the likelihood of burn out. - Everyone seems to truly enjoy each other. You'll find Media Cause employees at happy hours and lunches together.

Cons

It's not the best workplace for people who are unwilling to do work outside their job description and job title. For example, directors may sometimes do work that an account manager would do. People who succeed at Media Cause are okay with this.
