Pros

The people who work here make the work tolerable. Very smart media employees who care about their clients and their teammates. The other pro is the location - very few agencies are located in Long Beach.

Cons

Salaried employees are required to sign-in and sign-out every day. Time-off and benefit policies are pretty poor and no 401K matching. The CEO has poor direction and vision for this company and has everyone running on random goose hunts for whatever she asks. Moreover, the CEO micromanages way too much and needs to focus on herself and the direction of her company. I suspect that we're going to lose more clients and lay off more people, so get out while you can.

Pros

One of the greatest jobs I have ever had. The CEO, Natalie Hale, is generous with her time, knowledge and resources. It is a very communicative atmosphere with an emphasis on learning the trade of DR (Direct Response). In traveling to trade shows it is quickly apparent of the stellar reputation that Media Partners commands in the industry. It was a honor to work with them and I carry and use the knowledge and tools I acquired there still to this day. I recommend Media Partners without hesitation to anyone looking to further their career in the media. Tom Hogan

Cons

Advertising as a whole is a tough business as your success is based on results. In the DR (Direct Response) business, clients run ads with the expectation of immediate results. There is a LOT of competition with TV, Internet and other radio entities. Media Partners has prevailed for decades with exclusive partnerships and their own version of secret sauce for results. But, this is not a kick back and coast business.

Pros

Media Partners is top notch when it comes to knowledge of all aspects of media buying. Buyers take pride in their relationships with their clients. The CEO is a strong working woman who has worked extremely hard to gain the respect from other media agencies. Tough negotiator and very up to date on all media. She takes care of her employees and strives for all of us to be the best we can. Fun atmosphere to work in and employees are all like family.

Cons

It may get a little stressful at times with the workload, however, we are all a team and work to help each other whenever needed.
