Cons

The VP of People operates with a political agenda that has nothing to do with employee development, which creates a ceiling for anyone who isn't in the inner circle. There's also a culture of nepotism that's hard to ignore - certain individuals exist in the organization with no clear role or accountability, and employees are expected to accommodate that without question. The company invests heavily in projecting a "cool tech startup" image - beautiful office, team events, social media posts - but the reality doesn't match the branding. Perks are surface-level. There are no real benefits, no meaningful compensation, and no actual tech culture underneath the aesthetic. It looks like a place that takes care of its people. It isn't.
