Pros

They're nice people not a bad first job to have.

Cons

The turnover rate is higher than you'd think. You don't get a real warning when you're going to be let go. I'd advise to get this job but have something lined up just in case.

Pros

- CEO Steve Portnoy and Charlie are genuinely good people and seem to care - Unlimited PTO and fully remote work are great benefits - Summer Fridays help with work-life balance

Cons

- Extremely high turnover - people are let go randomly, often without any warning or explanation - Very little internal communication - major updates, new hires or products often aren’t communicated to relevant teams - Sales teams are expected to sell new offerings before receiving any materials or training - Constant business changes, but no updates provided to the team - Low base pay and very low commissions compared to industry standards - No clear path for career growth or internal promotion - Senior leadership (especially Cara and Jon) display unprofessional behavior, including gossiping about employees - The environment often feels toxic and unprofessional - instead of addressing minor issues directly, cross-team members go straight to managers, creating unnecessary drama and a lack of trust. It often feels like high school behavior rather than a professional setting - Day-to-day communication is cold and transactional. Emails are often abrupt, lacking basic professional courtesies like greetings or human tone (e.g., no “good morning” or “hope you're well”). It felt off from day one and unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced - There’s a serious lack of cross-team communication and collaboration. In some cases, team members have even complained about receiving messages on Microsoft Teams and requested that all communication happen via email - an unusual and inefficient approach that discourages real-time teamwork - Overall environment is chaotic, disorganized, and lacking accountability
