-great team of smart people;
-open communication with managers and executives;
-good benefits;
-not a corporate, but rather a flexible and cozy work environment.
I am free to make any proposal and pitch any idea -- and get an audience. It's a very open culture and collaborative work environment. For this reason, Mediander is a great place to grow and learn new skills.
Cons
Top-down management is light, so you need a lot of personal discipline to stay focused.
Mediander.com launched in July 2013 and now has more than a million visitors a month. Mediander is a team environment and everyone has a stake in the success of the company. Since the time I started at Mediander I have observed that the CEO respects everyone's opinion, and that every employee has a vote in shaping the company’s success.
Cons
Mediander is a start-up which means everyone wears many hats and needs to put in the time and effort the job requires. This is not a 9 to 5 job but those who put in the extra time are always rewarded.
