overall friendly and you can easily "coast" for 30 years. I know senior people that worked "full time" and managed a second business. You quickly get to know people and politics and as long as you negotiate that you have a long peaceful life

Cons

little salary increases (ex. best iI could hand out was 1000 a year every 4 years to a team of 9). Your career lives and dies by your political alliances and not your ability Also very male-dominated/sexist (no diversity)
