      Great people and flexibility, but issues with pay and poor decision making

      Pros

      Lots of good people, WFH flexibikity, yearly pay reviews.

      Cons

      Pay is perhaps lower than the average for this profession, limited scope for progression, training opportunities and investment in internal staff, feels more 'corporate' than it did previously, Questionable decisions made for new system architectures from higher up with minimal input from actual Engineers.

      Pros

      Work within a good team trying their best to get things done. WFH flexibility.

      Cons

      Completely unrealistic understanding or expectation of the work teams do at board level. To be told something is "quick and easy I am sure" by someone at board level in an area they have zero understanding of is infuriating. A culture of making people disappear and claiming they have chosen to leave. Benefits since PE takeover are nowhere near as good. Company values are nonsense.
