Pros

- The company is fully remote and work-life balance is pretty decent. - The base pay is competitive for a company of similar size and stage.

Cons

- Engineering leadership is incompetent and inexperienced. The org-wide engineering meetings are often filled with unrealistic, outdated ideas (imagine weekly security training in all different programming languages) that never even come to fruition. - Frequent reorgs: There are a lot of reorgs and layoffs, which seem to be just another way to fire people. Those who are affected by these also seem somewhat random, not necessarily limited to low performers.

Pros

- Really wonderful, smart and competent employees - Everyone will bend over backwards to help you

Cons

- Leadership is absolutely inept and they have lost the few leaders who were smart and replaced them with more "yes" men (and I do mean "men") - Incredibly sexist leadership team (actually employees are not like this) where there is a legitimate disparity in pay between men and women doing the same job - For a very typically majority male tech company, each one of the 6 round of layoffs have been two-thirds women - All of the chaos at the leadership level might drive most of the wonderful employees left to leave the company - Leaking money and cannot sell to anyone right now

Pros

Some very talented folks in product and operations. Memora is savvy at marketing and CEO has promoted the product as breakthrough AI technology. Unfortunately, the product is not built to scale and takes enormous customer lift and months to years to implement.

Cons

Many key staff have left or were impacted by continuous RIF cycles. This is not a strategy for success. Grind culture with zero work/life balance. Unrealistic expectations on employee dedication to the company with zero loyalty for individuals who have driven success. Leadership is delusional about actual problems and think they can spin their way out of this crisis.
