      decent health insurance, i guess

      Cons

      depends on what you do and where you work. if you are a new grad, looking to get your feet wet, then this is fine. but if you want the most out of your nursing career, don't hang around too long. pay is way too low.

      Benefits (but recent cuts make this less of a pro) Different nursing positions available Many departments have great team morale- some do not.

      Cons

      Highest management positions always sought from outside system Other management positions are filled with inexperienced people Doctors can be unethical just trying to make money Pay is low for some positions and newer nurses usually make more than those that have been there for years.
