Pros

Office is located Downtown, next to Peel station Free coffee, sandwiches, snacks, and beer PlayStation 4, hockey table, foosball table, etc. Schedule is flexible to some extent Wide array of projects Salary is not bad

Cons

All internal communications (Slack) are monitored No software development process Management is unprofessional and things can get personal Company is not focused on quality Very few benefits There is no supervisor and Management is not technical; it is difficult to receive pertinent evaluation Feedback is only given when mistakes happen; never positive feedback Half of the company are interns and the other half are average developers Too many rotations Dev is responsible for the whole stack, including facing the client Work is done alone or in a very small team with no management Lacking leadership, communication, and transparency

Pros

Close to metro station, abundant coffee and chocolate

Cons

Owners are terrible managers, developers need to log every 15 minutes of their time, not agile, unorganized project management resulting in unsatisfied clients, sloppy projects , minimal vacation and days off required by law, mostly newbie developers and team changes quite often, since they can't keep talented people.

Although this is one of the most negative reviews we’ve ever seen, we still thank you for taking the time to write it. Honestly, we’re surprised that you stayed here so long if you really thought that everything about the company was terrible. We do ask our developers to log their time, even if they only spend 15 minutes on something. We don’t find it ethical when people log an hour on something that only took 15 minutes. (our clients appreciate this about us:) We wish you luck in the future and hope that you find an employer that will give you everything that you clearly deserve!
