Pros

The employees who came from legacy Truven Health Analytics, Explorys and Phytel were top quality. Smart, committed, creative, supportive.

Cons

Merative leadership has shown nothing but disdain for its employees and the clients they serve. At this writing, the company is 7 months old. In the last 4 months, it executed a 3 year plan that has required a reorganization 3 times. Employees were laid off in October and survivors were reassigned. In December they laid off more employees ~ many of whom had taken on the work of folks cut in October~ another realignment. Now, in January they've done it again. Merative has cut so deeply into core services that client projects will be delayed or worse include mistakes. Morale is the pits. Confidence in leadership is low. Survivors are hurrying to exit. I could never recommend that anyone work for Merative at this time. I doubt they will still be a going concern in a year.

Pros

Products and services provided to customers, remote work, unlimited PTO.

Cons

Steer clear of this place if you value your sanity. There are continuous layoffs every month driving more work for everyone in teams with little to no appreciation for the work being done. Venture capital backed that is looking to make. quick buck then get out. Executive leadership that is clueless of the industry and its showing in the multiple layoffs to drive cost cutting. Toxic culture being created. No onboarding for new hires. No equity given to management. For our company one year anniversary, it was recognized by giving the day off before 4th of July and a paragraph from the CEO saying thank you that went completely flat. No true appreciation for the work being done to sell this place to maintain our customers or employees working in this environment. This place is just plain awful and it starts with the executive team and lack of their 3 year strategy being solid to what this business needs to uplift a brand and new company with good people, products and services.

Pros

Can't think of any, this is a sinking ship.

Cons

Where do I even begin? Constant layoffs. The most recent one literally 1 week after CEO call, saying how well the company is doing. Managers have no control over promotions, comps and reviews for their employees. Everything is directed from top. There is absolutely no chance of growth in this company. SF is disengaged and does not care about the morale and only wants to make a quick buck, what can you expect from a private equity company? This is how they operate. Company will most likely be broken up and sold in pieces. The HR is totally incompetent, they haven't been able to implement a simple recognition plan that managers have been asking for in 1.5 years! Let's not give you raises, lets reduce 401k, let's make vacation unlimited so we don't have to give pay outs, let's not give high ratings to top performers, lets put friends of PE people in new positions but tell current talent that we have no room for growth. Then let's jump on a call and tell the employees to work harder, please! All they do is deflect in calls or say we won't be taking questions. Also, note to HR: This company has a diversity problem,
