Pros

Office is right next to Little Italy Dog Friendly Founder has experience in building/selling a business

Cons

Some of the worst sales leadership I've ever encountered. Honestly, the majority of problems in the company stem from sales leadership. Fear-based "leadership" Zero professional development, support, or general care for employees. No job security. Hostile work environment- toxic culture. Dismal office space and benefits- you have to pay for your own parking. Product is easy enough to understand but clunky, and really doesn't add any value for customers. There's so many competitors in the space and no real differentiation. San Diego is becoming one of the hottest tech hubs in the US! There are so many awesome companies to work for (in San Diego or remote)- don't settle for Mercato.

Pros

There are no pros. This company is god-awful.

Cons

The only way to describe sales leadership is "absolutely demoralizing". All of the good reviews are fake and written by the same person to try to save the company's image. This is- by far- the most toxic and dysfunctional sales environment I've ever seen. If you are offered a position by Mercato- run the other way.
