Let's start with the lack of respect for employees. During my time at MLS, a 401k plan was being rolled out. Due to it not having an employer match, I tried to choose to opt out. Myself and others were harassed (verb, subjected to aggressive pressure or intimidation) by upper management on 2 occasions to enroll (not just choose to opt in or out). We were told that if we did not sign up, it was unlikely that we would receive future benefits.
On several occasions, individuals were singled out in front of the department to highlight their errors, or even in one case to be yelled at and reprimanded in front of the entire department (by the same director mentioned above).
Lastly, don't expect anyone in a position to make a difference listen to you. I went to HR on 2 occasions and was ignored. They refused to address the situations or hold the responsible parties accountable, even when one occasion was about an issue with a coworker making derogatory remarks and slurs towards myself.
This company will pretend to care about you by getting the company a food truck or holding "fun" team building activities, but please do not be fooled by this. Joke's on me though, I should have kept a paper trail.
I would not recommend working for this company if you value your voice being heard.
