Pros

- The knowledgeable employees that are still left are a joy to work with - Work life balance is easily manageable if you are placed on the right team. Unfortunately this isn't the case for everyone due to the amount of recent departures. -The product at it's core is great for small to mid-sized customers - If you are looking to expand your contacts within the transportation industry there are many opportunities to meet industry leaders.

Cons

- The acquisition. MercuryGate was acquired by an equity firm late 2018. Like most equity firm acquisitions the goal is to inflate numbers to make the company look attractive for a future sale. The attitude and lack of emphasis on employee growth makes it very clear that this is the case. - Retention. The amount of knowledgeable employees that have jumped ship within the last year is alarming. Leadership has not formally addressed the retention issue and refuses to back-fill the positions. This is putting more pressure on the teams who lost said employees and should be of concern if you are looking at joining the MercuryGate team. - Processes. It is widely known throughout the company that Professional Services processes are likely to change every other week. By the time a beneficial change is communicated down to the lowest level it is likely the process has changed yet again. - Product knowledge. Like I mentioned before A LOT of resources have departed the company within the year leaving new hires or inexperienced employees to pick up the pieces. It is very common for customers to become extremely frustrated with resources due to the lack of industry knowledge and TMS experience. New leadership can not talk to the intricacies of the product which leads to a loss of confidence from customers when escalations occur. There is absolutely no career development initiatives within Professional Services right now. There is a lot of upward mobility for responsibility, but don't expect more money to come with that responsibility.

Please don't do this to yourself

Pros

Free unhealthy snacks and rotten fruit.

Cons

Literally everything. I do not know you personally but if you care about yourself and your overall well being, you will not work here. This place is a thief of joy. Management is dishonest and seems incompetent. You may be offered a lot of money and unlimited PTO, however, they offer you this money in exchange for your soul and unlimited PTO does not exist when it comes to your metrics. Do not expect a bonus or a raise ever. If you do make the mistake of working here, you can expect an increase in stress, gray hair, and weight. If you do decide to come in for an in person interview, take a close look at the faces of the employees. If they look like they hate their lives its because they do. Is this really what you want for yourself? Please, for the love of God, please do not work here. If you want to be respected as a human being (especially women), this is not the place for you.

Pros

Great Product - someone needs to buy it......

Cons

Executive Management is abusive to staff on a daily basis, except family members, while the rest of the Executive team stands by and lets the abuse happen without doing anything to stop the abuse - shame on them! I dare the board of directors to investigate how the Executive Leadership team treats staff...shouting, screaming using unprofessional language, blaming without facts
