Pros

Great staff, very good health insurance, fair market wages, close to downtown. Would be a fine first job for someone straight out of college.

Cons

The individuals who are in management positions have no experience nor management skills. They hire great staff, however few of them stay long term. I was hired without a clear job description, and after a year of working there, still did not have one. The turnover is unbelievable. In my time working there, I watched 7 employees leave in 8 months. Many left with little or no notice. The work environment is extremely small, awkward, and you have no personal space. There is no office culture, mostly because there are no common areas for staff to co-mingle. Breaks are arranged so that no two employees can have lunch together. Management is controlling, micromanaging, manipulative, and overall suspicious of their employees. There is a feeling of distrust that permeates the place. They claim that they are all about "collaborativity/collaboration" but there is no collaboration-the place is basically a dictatorship. The only collaboration that I saw was between the members of upper management as they met on a daily basis to psychoanalyze their employees. There is no collaboration between management and employees/staff. The few who have been there longer than a year are incredibly difficult personalities to work with. No room for advancement. This is not a job for a career person, or someone with experience in the world. Also, the company wrote 4 of the reviews on this page.

Beware of fake five star reviews by management

Pros

Absolutely nothing - this was a miserable experience. Many of these positive reviews are written by management to overwrite the negative ones from true admin staff. Absolute dysfunction and the organization should be ashamed of themselves.

Cons

Gaslighting by management Zero transparency Micromanaging to the point of production standstill Extremely high turnover Absolutely no direction - you're given your computer and outdated 'policies' and expected to keep up Excessive and unnecessary acronyms and meetings Overly stressed employees fired or leaving without notice at the drop of a hat

Truly dysfunctional

Pros

The mission of the organization *could* make it an inspiring place to work, but the higher level management makes the everyday experience absolutely miserable.

Cons

It's pretty clear that the longtime higher-level staff wrote all the positive reviews. I have never worked anywhere with such a dysfunctional office culture. My supervisor was an extreme micro-manager, and there was a baseline expectation that employees would work many evenings and weekends in addition to the work week. Worst of all was the extreme gaslighting, emotional manipulation, and overall toxic treatment of employees by the upper level management staff. Turnover was extremely high, and still is, from what I gather. There was even a support group for former employees that continued to meet up to process their experience. Look elsewhere.
