Pros

Truly inspiring culture, people and work to be a part of on a daily basis. Safe environment - felt valued, seen and heard at every step.

Cons

Small agency mostly has its pros (things like feeling like everyone is family), but a con could be that there's not the exponential and "fast lane" career growth trajectory for yourself you may find elsewhere at a larger company.

Pros

Metaleap Creative is a studio where creative excellence is valued and pursued. Under guidance of the CD and ACD, you will gain a solid foundation in graphic design and be exposed to new ideas and ways to solve problems. All creatives will be challenged in their way of thinking and be pushed in their design sensibilities. Creative work is reviewed daily, and several reviews with the CD or ACD may be required before a design is complete or approved; late nights can be needed for certain deadlines, but are a pretty rare occurrence. A willing attitude and strong work ethic can open doors for continued professional growth at the company. The office is composed of a team that is diligent and talented. Each person on the team is self-motivated and carries high expectations for themselves. All employees are expected to be in the office Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Each person has their own desk, and all designers work from desktop computers rather than laptops. This has allowed for better work/life balance for most employees. The space itself is a well-designed open office with two private offices. Office culture tends to lean more serious during work hours, but there are various gatherings created for catching up as a team and having creative/intellectual conversations. Leadership values relationship and making sure that each person has what they need to do their job well. I recommend working here if you have a strong work ethic, value conceptual graphic design, are self-motivated and highly attentive to detail, and want to be pushed personally and professionally.

Pros

Not sure why glassdoor doesn't allow for earlier date selection but i worked at Metaleap around 2008-2009. I started off as a intern (6-8 month internship) and was hired on full-time. Here are my thoughts: 1. I absolutely loved the team (even though it was very small back in 2008). There was always a good balance between a family type environment and a no nonsense creative agency type of feel. 2. Diverse work, anything from publication design to web design etc. 3. The management team never breathed down my neck to make things look a certain way, but rather pushed us to explore our creative thinking/execution while maintaining the style guide of a given product.

Cons

I absolutely enjoyed working at Metaleap and can't think of anything negative to mention.
