Good holiday schedule and half days on Fridays

Cons

Over time, the CFO’s leadership style has significantly impacted team morale and cohesion. Several team members have chosen to leave, citing their experiences as a direct result of this dynamic. The pattern of turnover has become recurring, and each departure adds to an already relentless workload. Rather than addressing capacity concerns, the expectation often shifts further, placing additional strain on those who remain. This cycle is unsustainable and demoralizing.

Only brokers are important

Cons

CEO and management could care less about anybody besides brokers, and they’ll remind you of this frequently. Terrible health insurance and benefits Support staff (accounting, graphics/GIS, etc) are not treated equally. Brokers can do whatever they want whenever they want, while everybody who supports them gets no love or even a thank you. Senior employees really can be disrespectful to younger staff. Some staff forced to work unpaid overtime when not needed.

Good to learn but not a destination

Exposed to a lot of different scenarios due to different clients. Pto package is good. Other employees nice to work with.

Cons

The department cycle is hire someone, provide very little training, overwork them, when they ssy theyre behind tell them to work more hours, and then they eventually feel defeated and leave. 17 people have left the department (of around 10) over the last few years. Until this is addressed, the cycle will continue.
