Pros

1. Lunch is served by Eat 24 every day.

Cons

1. Witnessed 8 layoffs within a one month period. (Jan-Feb) 2. No Kitchen, No fridge, bathrooms are always flooded. 3. The culture is grind/boiler room - you are scrutinized if you do not stay until 6pm or 7pm, even if you arrive at 7am. 4. Rarely do employees get out for lunch breaks. 5.. There is NO COMMUNICATION between execs and employees other than false bravado and explanations as to why 2 more people got fired this week. 5. The market is diluted and has way too many players to compete. 6. The product services small-mid size companies at best, but goals will be set at the enterprise level. 7. The negative energy and stress due to very low sales numbers is overwhelming.

Mostly great people, bad leadership, sinking ship.

Pros

Compensation is competitive. Most of the non-leadership folks are great to work with. Company off-sites. Engineering leadership is great to work with.

Cons

Where to start.... Leadership at the company is extremely dismissive of feedback. They truly don't care. The CEO actually laughs at the reviews on Glassdoor and mocks them publicly to the company in all-hands meetings (no doubt out of insecurity). Revolving door of execs and product leaders. They either can't figure out how to hire the right people or the leadership is spooked at the uncertainty of the future of Mezmo (or both). Multiple rounds of layoffs in 2023 alone. Engineering layoffs...Mezmo should not be laying off engineers, they should be aggressively hiring more. If you are a dev I would steer clear. Expect more layoffs in 2024. The product is not working well or selling well. Product-market-fit is weak at best. The space is dominated by one major player and they will crush any innovation Mezmo comes up with (not likely to happen anyway). Raises and cost of living increases non-existent.
