      Pros

      Some cool perks and some good colleagues.

      Cons

      Felt almost cult like with people weirdly positive about working here despite clearly hating it. Lots of people were off sick for huge period.

      - Impressive office with a great canteen and a mass of free parking - Lovely staff who are friendly and make everyone feel welome - Supportive HR team who seem to genuinely care about their staff - Fantastic learning development team with endless training and support available I really enjoy working here and have been so impressed by everything so far. There is a lot of trust given to emplyees with agile and flexible working which is most appreciated and overall Michelmores feels like mature and sucessful firm to be a part of.

      Cons

      There is a really pleasant culture at Michelmores, however, it can sometimes feel as though you are being judged (by more junior staff) when leaving the office at a sensible time at the end of the day or taking a lunch break despite Michelmores promoting a healthy work life balance.

      Thak you for the review. As you note, as a Firm we are really committed to promoting a positive work balance. We are continually looking at ways to further embed flexibility into our culture and your feedback is therefore really helpful in terms of identifying areas for us to focus on. We have a some firmwide social events in the calendar, including our annual firmwide quiz and late summer ball. There are also regular drinks events you can attend across our different offices and departments (eg Thirsty Thursdays every month in London). Keep an eye on the marketing diary and Firm intranet for other events coming up soon!

      Pros

      Everyone is extremely nice and friendly, probably because we are all treated with respect. Really relaxed, family style atmosphere but doesn't stop your ability to work like some places. Great benefits. Management really take the time to talk to everyone and listen to opinions. Training budget is great and you are encouraged to use it.

      Cons

      None so far, love working here.
