Pros

high salary until they cut it in half, decent benefits until you are fired

Cons

I am not a bitter ex-employee upset about no longer working for this company or writing a bad review out of retaliation. Quite the contrary: THANK GOD I am no longer working in this nightmarish place. I am writing only for the purpose of helping other people avoid making the mistake of working here. You might be lured here by a high salary and decent benefits, but you will be miserable every waking moment of your life while you work for this company. The COO is a an abusive sociopath who has no concern for other human beings and who considers lying to be a normal part of doing business. He projects his own sick, perverse view of life and human nature and poisons relationships with employees, customers, and business partners. He delights in making other people as miserable as he is and he will especially target you for harassment if you are talented and successful. The company will be force you to sign an employment agreement which allows them to lower your salary for any or no reason and which attempts to pre-determine that you will be fired for cause in any scenario, and the agreement will be used as justification for denying you severance pay, unemployment benefits, and to prevent you from working for a customer or competitor. They will even tell you that you are being laid off and then try to claim you were fired for cause when you apply for unemployment benefits. They bet that you will not go through the trouble of hiring an attorney to contest their illegal employment practices. The CEO is more polished than the COO and can be pleasant when it serves his purposes, but he is no less psychotic than the COO. He is an arrogant and enjoys belittling others and showing off his presumed intellectual superiority. He has no conscience or capacity for empathy with other human beings. The only reason he is not personally attacked in more of the reviews on this site is because he lets the COO do most of his dirty work.

Pros

Great HR Director and Director of Accounting

Cons

The rest of the company, especially the COO and CEO. They are small and socially awkward men that are scared/intimated by their worker's good ideas/suggestions.

Pros

You can learn many different things working for MAI. However, it is a high stress environment and if your not thick skinned you won't last very long.

Cons

Management has NO clue what they are doing. Management lies to their customers on a regular basis to cover their faults. Meeting time doesn't count in your 8 hour day. You can work 80 hours a week and it won't matter you will get NO recognition for it.
