Pros

Good Benefits, that's about it.

Cons

- Lack of Honesty and integrity (Although these are two of their values) - Waste money on un profitable marketing campaigns and sponsorships, and then look for ways to not pay incentive to employees. - Nepotism to the highest degree as all new hires are from another local bank. - COO basically a hired thug to clean out old employees to make room for their Bremer buddies. - HR lacks any ability to help employees once upper management has you in the cross hairs. - Top performing employees are moved out to make room for their friends, wonder if that is why they still don't make any money? -Overall this bank is a complete train wreck and it starts at the top. Please do not assume this is just a review to get back at an old employer. I had close to a decade at this bank and help them put new policies and sales plans into place. My manager was replaced, and immediately my team was either terminated or jobs re posted and then outside employees hired for their jobs. The CEO of the holding company is a very good business man and leader, the bank president is not so much.

Pros

Work life balance is good, they aren't slave drivers. miss your goal, no problem. you live to see another day. People in the branches are great. CEO is very positive and a good leader.

Cons

They pay on the low scale, since they aren't slave drivers, motivation to do anything is lost. Upper management is utterly clueless and they try to make an impact but it's all talk. No pay raises. impossible to move up, everyone that is being added used to work at bremmer bank. very top heavy with old school management. CEO says "e-mail me directly if you have a concern" others say if it's not positive your walking the plank...

Pros

You will learn a lot because they run a thin staff so you will need to be able to do a lot of things, regardless of your position. For the most part, management seems to be very knowledegable on sales and managing assets.

Cons

Exempt staff often works long hours and are expected to. Incentives are poor and some upper-level managers lack people and managarial skills.. Pay for mid-level positions is low.
