Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Some groups have a positive work environment, there are some leaders who really want to make a difference and do the right thing.

Cons

The entire HR department is the most toxic group of people I've ever witnessed. It is not only one large clique, but there is an accepted culture of treating people poorly with little empathy, both inside and outside of the group. They are great at taking credit and congratulating each other for work that isn't theirs, but are the first to point fingers when something doesn't go right. They preach empathy, collaboration and happiness but when it comes to living it, they fall very short. This is a known problem that management refuses to address. Plenty of good people have left because this toxic behavior persists.

Thank you for your feedback. Our mission, vision and values are deeply rooted in the culture of our HR team, and our leaders foster an environment of empathy, inclusivity, and respect. They hold their teams accountable for living up to our values as and creating an environment where everyone feels appreciated. In addition, we have an open-door policy that encourages employees to escalate issues to leadership, apart from reaching out to their HR business partner. We want you to know that we hear you and will look into the concerns you’ve expressed. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

A place work until you find something else.

Cons

Management is awful. Currently dealing with COVID-19 and management is working from home while employees must come in. When management is showing up they are being extremely rude and unprofessional. If you enjoy feeling belittled and unappreciated this is the place for you.

Our decision-making throughout the COVID-19 response continues to be anchored in our commitment to our employees’ safety and well-being and our mission to help consumers recover from financial difficulty and turn toward a path of economic empowerment. The health and safety of our employees is a clear priority during this time. More and more employees across our locations each day are being asked to work from home as part of a proactive measure and/or in compliance with state or local mandates. Senior leaders have been present in the office at each site in an effort to support quick decision-making until state or local mandates state otherwise. We started first with those employees who were readily equipped to work from home, and in parallel, have been procuring and/or shipping equipment to other employees to begin to set them up to work from home. We can promise that your safety and well-being remain at the forefront of our decision-making.

Pros

You can make some extra money if you don't mind working all the time. Overtime is available, because there aren't enough employees left to get the job done.

Cons

- Quality doesn't matter, just volume and turn around time, and the constant badgering is stressful. - There is a culture of disrespect, bullying and harassment. There are always HR complaints that will lead nowhere. - You will sign and mass produce thousands of legal documents as fast as possible, and be told that everyone else is better and faster than you are. They will pester you with unrealistic turn around times, and they will track how many documents that you complete each day, and you are constantly compared to everyone else. - There is a lot of controlling and micromanaging that isn't useful or needed. - You are told not to give any negative or neutral remarks or ratings on the satisfaction surveys, and you are told to create ingenuine "High fives" to coworkers so that they can use them as propaganda to falsely prove how happy and satisfied their employees are. -Your questions are reviewed for the quarterly Zoom meetings so that they can choose what questions that they can be asked. The exact same questions are asked each quarter, and are never answered satisfactorily.
