      Pros

      There are a handful of really great co-workers but that is about the only positive thing I can say about this company.

      Cons

      EXTREME favoritism by managers. Nepotism evident. If you are a hard worker, you will just get more work dumped on you. Bonuses are paid out based on group effort so the lazy people ride on the coattails of the hard workers and bring the group down. If you're a minority, you can put up your feet and sleep at your desk because managers are afraid to say anything. Management sucks. They are afraid of confrontation so they stay in their offices and only communicate to tell you when you are screwing up. NO 401k PLAN! No room for advancement at all. I would never recommend this company to a friend.

      Pros

      Midland offers good compensation and benefits for this level job, and generous time off. Time off grows as you spend more time employed with the company.

      Cons

      There is little to no room for career growth. Despite having lots of time off, it's hard to take advantage of it if you can't manage your own work load, so PTO may go unused.

      Pros

      The Midland Group is full of hardworking staff who truly care about helping people. I've felt very supported and empowered by my supervisor as well as my team, and that makes me feel good about coming to work every day! The staff are all friendly, care about supporting each other, and also demonstrate professionalism both internally and externally. Great place to work.

      Cons

      So far, this has been a great work experience with lots of room for growth and development.
