Ever growing transportation company with excellent customer service and a welcoming office environment.

Pros

Regular work schedule. Great benefits including medical insurance, employer 401K contributions, and PTO. Very friendly and welcoming work atmosphere. Innovative and constantly growing and improving the company.

Cons

There seems to be a gender bias in regards to promotion. Was bypassed multiple times for higher management positions for which I was qualified, then expected to train hat person.

Pros

Small enough to know the names of peoples faces and shake hands with the corporate President and VP's. The local Management and their employees really are good people trying their best to do a difficult job. (KUDOS ALL THE WAY)

Cons

Midwest Motor Express has taken a new direction and now PRIORITIZES FREIGHT. We have 3-4 major accounts that we are instructed by Executive Management to service first. If we fail to service these PRIORITY CUSTOMERS first we are reprimanded.

Low pay, even long time employees are treated as disposable - I saw 20 people laid off, 10 of which had been with the company for over 10 years. Really poor management.
