Pros

Easy to develop good coworker relationships d/t shared distrust in management and workload

Cons

Definitely should have taken the reviews more seriously before applying. Little to no growth opportunity, with petty response from above if you try to move between departments or jobs. Management treats employees like children, they do not listen to suggestions or input (sometimes will respond to superficial input to make it look like they listen). Can’t stick to their own “REAL” value system but are quick to apply it to the slightest infraction, such as framing unplanned absences as a moral failing of the highest order and proof that you are probably the most worthless employee they’ve ever had. Will take every opportunity to criticize your work, all avenues for recognition come from coworkers writing “REAL” awards on their own time. Any claims made that they will “support” you are false. This is a great job for someone with absolutely no life, emergencies, or events outside of work. Every employee has gotten in “trouble” for multiple things, yet several have never been recognized for their work (despite being dedicated and resilient) HIGH turnover rate - refusal to change leads to endless frustration and burnout (it is even part of the employee “work plan” to improve retention, further showing management’s lack of accountability) Very poor training plans for all positions - no clear training pathway, each new employee has a different training experience (or lack thereof), quick punishment for failures resulting from lack of training. DOUBLE STANDARDS EVERYWHERE. They couldn’t enforce the same rules on everyone if their lives depended on it - so much favoritism, targeting, etc. Will accuse employees of various offenses with either no proof at all or word of mouth - and will absolutely not respond to any actual evidence that opposes their vendetta. Endless flow of false promises, fake sympathy, professional avoidance, and lies. Although the process was extremely shady, disrespectful, and borderline inhumane, I’m very happy to no longer be associated with this company.
