Pros

Nothing even comes to mind

Cons

I need this review to be out there because I think this company is a scheme. First of all, their website was a red flag. As an English major, I immediately noted their word choice and grammar was not polished. They’re a marketing company, so already that’s a bad sign. Then they do group interviews, which is super odd. The reason they don’t require any experience is because they’re taking advantage of naïveté with gross promises of growth. They’re a San Francisco based company, yet they pay below minimum wage. That’s illegal. In the interview, they spoke about team meetings in the office at 7am. That is ridiculously early and again, bad sign. Then you only get compensated by being pushy sales people in retail stores. So yeah you could potentially make money by hustling really hard, but that is kinda false advertising. Just straight up say Field Sales Marketing and be forthcoming about your business. The whole business model is ridiculous. You basically have to work long hours and every single day, yet they talk about “making your own schedule” and flexibility. The person hosting the interview was not very professional or authoritative in tone. She bragged about the company culture and how they all give each other pep talks and verbal support, as if that’s a benefit to working there. That shouldn’t be a talking point, it’s an expectation. If you really value your employees, you’d pay them more. $15/hour is below minimum wage. Even if you do offer bonus pay, that is really just carrot on the end of the stick mentality. I hope this is useful for anyone who gets their hopes up by all the great reviews.

Pros

MBN is a people’s development business that is solely focusing on contributing to the growth of its people internally. Throughout my time at MBN, I have grown a lot professionally by constantly getting pushed out of my comfort zone. From my first day, the CEO mentored me and helped me come up with a game plan to accomplish the professional goals and financial goals that I have set for myself. With her help and her mentorship I was able to gain that financial stability that I have been looking for. Something that attracted me to the company from the get go was the culture and the fact that its people all shared the exact same core values. Indeed, it is a people helping people business that is big on integrity, respect, diversity, humility and transparency. I love the fact that the office is filled with different types of individuals coming from different backgrounds as it allows each and every employee to get a different view on the world. Coming in at Millennial Boss Network I never felt like the underdog or any sort of imposter’s syndrome as every single employee was extremely welcoming. I am lucky enough to say that I am part of the small percentage of individuals that genuinely enjoy what they do and look forward to working with its team members.

Cons

There are no cons. If one is not allowing to get out of its comfort zone than this company is definitely not a good fit
