MillerKnoll Has Lost the Plot

Pros

From middle management down there are respectful and hardworking teams across the brands that combine to make MillerKnoll a fun and challenging environment in the best way.

Cons

Employees are extremely looked down on by C-Suite and seen as nothing more than a dollar sign. The more of us they cut the more they can expand profit margin. Now our bonuses are being used by the CEO as a carrot to dangle in front of employees in order to get them to work longer hours and take on extra work (mostly of positions that have yet to be backfilled).

Pros

-Supporting staff and mid-level management are all amazing people and genuinely care about what work they do. -Great benefits prior to MK a question of our small company

Cons

-CEO shows herself to be uncaring for those who don't make $ 5 million+ a year like she does and is unapologetic for her elitist rhetoric or behavior in public meetings. -MK generally seem to value $$$ over customer satisfaction or employee health -Incredibly disorganized at a top leadership level for day-to-day activities/ policy changes/ product launches/ online promotion launches

Pros

Unlimited time off for salaried employees, awesome coworkers who have truly been a joy to work with, high quality products you can be proud to represent

Cons

Another win for the monopoly game (let’s buy up the competition then gut them out :D), no growth opportunities, underpaid employees (especially if you’re in the majority that makes up the bottom part of the company pyramid), high turnover rate, good old-fashioned values that can’t keep up with the times
