Don't Believe The Hype

Pros

Despite my rating, there are many good things that I can say about Milrose. Unfortunately, they are over shadowed by just a FEW of the cons listed below.

Cons

The "flattering" reviews are simply a form of damage control done by one of the staff. I know this first hand. The human resource department is a complete joke. Extremely unorganized and the amount of time it takes for anyone in that dept. to respond to a simple inquiry is down right insulting. Opportunity for growth? Yes, that depends entirely on who you know in the higher ranks. Take it from someone with outstanding reviews and nothing to show for it in all of my time with the company.

Great People, Misguided Inept Senior Management

Pros

Very talented staff in the rank and file; very customer service oriented and smart. They learn the business quickly and always go the extra mile to make sure customers are satisfied.

Cons

Senior management focused inward, not on staff. Incompetency, distrust, and back stabbing is the norm. The work atmosphere is one of distrust and uneasiness. The staff deserves better.

Height of Arrogance

Pros

There were many caring people that put hard work and effort into this company and there seemed to be a genuine camaraderie among many of the employees.

Cons

I have never experienced principals of a firm that were more arrogant. Employees spoke in hushed tones about "the partners" like they were minor deities. Lou would have bizarre pop quizzes during sales meetings and would happily berate people in front of the other employees. He went so far as to "teach us" what we should order for lunch. A blow hard who loved to hear himself speak and talk about various awards that he received.
