Fun atmosphere, flexible schedules, no dress code, free lunch, frequent happy hours, yearly block party. The best health insurance I've ever had, generous PTO and sick day policies, newly introduced 401k matching. All my coworkers are the kind of people you'd enjoy being stuck in an elevator with. Very LGBTQ+ friendly.
Cons
Recent layoffs were stressful, but pushed management to be much more open about business numbers, which means future issues can be prevented as a team. The company could definitely use more gender-balance. As with most small companies the ladder isn't very high, so it's not a place for someone whose goals involve the C-suite.
-Nearly half the company laid off in Q1 of 2019 with instability
-Leadership (The CEO specifically is very weak with little direction or business knowledge, high -level and direction changes nearly monthly)
-Very few tools to do you job properly
-The office is an apartment and has a multitude of issues
-Low pay and perks (no 401k or stock options which isn't worth the risk of a company so small)
-Micromanagement down to every little task is a serious issue
-Condescending and belittling of employees by upper management
-Culture and values are not real or lived by
Poor company overall with zero growth or direction. Be very careful before accepting a role.
