Pros

->Good market potential if products are executed well ->smart engineers who are pretty easy to work with ->free lunch ->good location right next to caltrain/ace ->very nice office space.

Cons

->Top heavy org structure with a high manager to engineer ratio means a lot micro-managing. Combine this with a culture of managing upward and you have a very high pressure environment. ->Over aggressive deadlines mean engineers are constantly hacking and shipping half baked features. This and a prioritization of schedule over quality can lead to product instability. ->Engineers are rewarded for time spent working rather than the quality and impact of their work. ->Failure is not tolerated, which limits risk taking, and by inference, innovation. ->A lot of great engineers have been frustrated and/or burned out and quit. I know more ex teammates than teammates. ->Inexperienced managers who take a more reactive, ad hoc approach to project management. They are not hands on, so are unable to prioritize tasks or come up with reasonable timelines. ->They are not receptive to feedback about themselves either, so these cultural issues have very little chance of being resolved.

Pros

Great product with market potential. Friendly employees.

Cons

Unfriendly co-founders, low employee morale, and regular negativity across the board. Executives openly talk negatively about people and situations out in work areas.

Pros

Literally none. You're insane if you consider joining this company. A large number of the positive reviews are fake, so you should ignore them. Go search for former employees on LinkedIn (of which there are many) and ask them whether they would consider working here again.

Cons

Likes to claim they are a "startup", but with over 100 employees, nearly 6 years in business and $10s of millions of dollars raised, the company should be growing up. It all starts with immaturity and pettiness from management. The CEO having the poor judgement to allow his wife to be an executive despite not being qualified should have been a red flag. You will be publically degraded, dismissed and humiliated on a regular basis by both of them. Don't be fooled by the CEO's history, this one is not a rocket ship. The CEO's unilateral bad strategic decisions on what products to build, combined with engineering's lack of ability to build quality hardware or develop software, means that revenue growth just isn't there and insolvency has to be a real risk in the near future.
