Pros

-Clinical team contribute to the user experience

Cons

-Unfortunately this company uses their mission of being in the mental health space to get people interested in working for them. But their mission do not match their values of how they treat and value their employees. Do your homework, check retention rates and reviews before you get into this workplace. -Software development side they have a long way to go, lots of bugs and gaps in processes. Trying to build too fast without really paying attention to details or quality of work. -Politics and favouritism is a norm, you cannot challenge people and processes it will hinder your growth. Very hierarchical and political environment. -They do not foster growth and development within the company ,there are no metrics to hold management accountable. -There is no room for innovation and creativity as many things are micromanaged which is very disappointing

Pros

- Meaningful mission - Clinical experts very focused on client care

Cons

- We've lost a lot of good people recently and will keep losing more if we don't focus on people development. - Lots of hidden agendas and leaders playing favorites. - Unhealthy environment, we're burnt out and are too afraid to speak up. - Software is full of bugs and creates even more work for everyone else. People don't have confidence in the software. - Other companies offer better compensation.

Pros

The only major pro is that they are working on something that can change people’s life. Not much competition, yet, so there ‘appears’ to be a lot of growth.

Cons

The two biggest cons are: 1. Silo teams: hard to collaborate with others to over come challenges and think user first. 2. Negative attitude from leaders, which trickles down. It’s already hard to collaborate, this negative aura just makes it harder. Another con is that because teams don’t really communicate, they don’t have alignment on vision. So every team is just doing what they think is best, which doesn’t help the user in the end. Unfortunately they ‘seem’ to be building a platform for people’s mental health, but instead are making a tech later in a broken process that cannot be scaled.
