Pros

1) None of them, if employed at a client location. 2)Favouritism prevails, so guess it might be beneficial for bootlickers, that too if employed at their corporate office at Mumbai location. 3)High packages for those who are to deployed at client locations, out of Mumbai, provided they are good at bargaining (as if with a local veggies vendor). 4)No work-life balance, so might be good for people who aim to achieve success, by any means possible. 5)Deploys personnel to bank's L2/Database support team. So, might be good for people looking to get a taste of working within bank premises, with scale 3 or scale 4 levels of officers and be a part of their politics. 6)Lots of idle time at the client location, to spend either in gossips or to prepare for govt. sector exams, coz no-one would give a damn, whatever someone does, as long as the bootlicking method is followed.

Cons

Lots of them. So much so, that an essay of 250 words can be written on this topic. 1)Probation period of 6 months, with a notice period of 45 days followed by a notice period of 90 days, with salary getting credited on 7th of month. 2)Worst HR policies. Totally unsupportive HR. Before on-boarding, a lot is promised, once the employee is on-board, everything goes poof!! Even one would have to face hell lot of struggle to approve comp-offs that one is entitled for. 3)For client locations, no leave or holiday policies. Neither client's calendar nor Mindgate calendar is followed. Everything depends upon the client's whim. 4) In case of bank strike(s), even would be required to enter the campus as early as 5:30 in the morning, or worst be prepared for a night out within the bank's premises. 5) Nothing new to learn. No database development as such. Just a regular over-paid remote support job, with regular tasks of fetching data from the database, monitoring tasks. Most of the process(es) are already developed, with least scope of enhancement(s). 6)Dubious appraisal policies. Unclear management structure. If deployed at a client location, then a god save the resource!! 7)Expect little from the management or HR, because they only think of keeping business up-and-running, and are least concerned about the well-being of resources deployed at client location(s). Even if they would be the last one left on earth, do not, i repeat DO NOT SEEK HELP FROM THEM. because apart from judging you, over the coming years, neither they would help, nor would suggest any workaround. 8) MOST IMPORTANT: In case, you decide to leave the company, and put in your papers, forget about negotiating for a buy-out. Add to it, that HR will try it's best in all ways possible (in a negative sense, obviously), to keep you within grabs unless they find another resource, and believe me, they will try the least to search for a new resource, for the obvious reason, business is running, client is getting billed, so who cares.
